Kenneth Mott - Take A Step Back
Kenneth Mott, entrepreneur. He’s owned Harry’s Auto Body in Lynbrook, NY for forty-six years…and counting.
When you take a step back, you gain perspective. For Kenneth Mott, those two words, step back, are words to live by. Judging by both his accomplishments and contentment, we should live by them, too.
He started as an employee. Then he bought the shop. He's owned Harry's Auto Body in Lynbrook, New York for over forty-six years. He even dabbles in real estate and bought the building that houses his auto shop. Yes, he's about the business.
But that's not all. He finds time for both family and civic engagement. Among the organizations with which he's affiliated are the NAACP, 100 Black Men, the Rotary Club, the Urban League and even spent time serving with his local Auxiliary Police.
Originally, from a small North Carolinian town, Kenneth moved to New York in early adulthood. He's married with two adult children, three grandchildren and a lifetime full of great experiences.
