Patrick Wilson - Go For The Gold

Patrick Wilson is the owner of Nrdvana, a consignment store that caters to the nerds of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This self-proclaimed nerd was born and raised in Chicago. Patrick's father relocated to Sioux Falls and, later, so did Patrick.

During our conversation, Patrick shares the difference a woman he considers as a Mom made in his life. She worked in one of the group homes that he lived in after being separated from his biological family at age seven. You'll want to hear what this Mom said to Patrick. It opened the door for him to stop acting out and own the opportunities life presents.

Make sure you listen to the interview to appreciate his favorite words: "S%*! happens and most likely will happen to you, because other people's S%*! does not matter in the long run."

Patrick's favorite song is Take Me To Church by Hozier.
